Activist Dudley Laws

Very few epitomize the need for activism in Black communities in Canada like Dudley Laws!

Before social activism was a cool hashtag and the injustices of police violence would go viral in seconds, Dudley Laws was a powerful civil right activist.  He was the executive director of the Black Action Defense Committee, a group that fought adamantly for the rights of African-Canadians in the late 1980s.
